Let's Go
One of our latest award winning sites, Letsgo.org.nz recently won the ALGIM Best New Feature Website award 2012. Let's Go was created to encourage the people of New Plymouth to think about the alternatives when it comes to commuting by car.
Apart from delivering news and event updates from the Let’s Go Team, the site engages users who sign up by encouraging them to log trips taken by walking, running, cycling or skating etc. The user can then see the benefits by viewing their data around carbon reduced, money saved and calories burnt. They can also challenge friends or work mates to monthly competitions by inviting them to join the community. Let’s Go is an initiative of the New Plymouth District Council.
